I would like to go because it has been 4 years since I was at any conference concerning groups. We started our groups ministry 4 years ago and our questions are no longer about, ‘how to we start?’ but are about ‘how do we develop leaders?’ ‘how do we encourage groups to multiply?’ ‘how do we engage the many people who are not finding a place in a group?’

The re:group conference has breakouts on these things. I also want to take one of my key leaders with me, as it has come to the place where I really need to develop a good team to help move community forward in our church. I need to make leaders of leaders, and I believe the person I have in mind could help us a lot in that regard.

I don’t have budget for this right now, and I’d really like to get there.

Because for years I’ve had “..& Small Groups” in my job title….but my resourcing in that area has been, “Here’s a good book.” I’ve tried to do a “Small Group Leaders Resourcing Day”….but don’t feel I have much to offer….and I think it shows. Like standing naked in front of a small-group-uniform-requiring crowd. I’d love to see what God can do in our congregation if I offer Him that bit of myself to grow!!!

I would love to win the tickets to Re:Group because I am praying and fasting that I might win them, and will continue to fast until I hear that I have won. Oh, and because we have a small group ministry that is growing despite being so poorly organized. If we don’t do something to address this, we are headed for trouble. Thanks!

RISING Church is a new community of faith in northern Gwinnett County. Our vision for sdult ministry is that we will be a church OF small groups, not a church WITH small groups. Would love to get 2 free admissions for key volunteers leading that ministry!

Well, Mark, looks to me like you have your work cut out for you! Thanks for doing this. Really awesome idea. I’d like to go and can’t afford to this year, but I can’t beat many of the stories in your comments. If you need a panel for deciding who gets to go, or if the person who wins wnats to share their 2nd ticket, please let me know!

I feel that if I won it would be a fantastic learning experience for me to continue learning on something I’m already so passionate about!! It would be a great networking tool and it’s always good to know more people in what you want to do! . I’ve recently came a coach for small grps with Parkview and I am totally looking fwd to jump in and let God work thru me to help His children have a relationship with him. I absolutely love stuff like this, it really fires me up to do and be more. Just recently quit my job to focus more time to God and his people. This would be perfect! Thank you!!

I just got hired as the small group pastor of a church in great Boston this summer… I ran a small groups promo and 175 people/18 groups are starting this week! I need help: leadership development, leader training, structure, taking things to the net level… help!

Our church is 2 years old and we’ve started to take some major steps in our small groups ministry and coaching and I’ve set it as a goal to go to my first small groups conference this year to grow in my leadership and be able to bring back ideas and resources for our church. I’m ready for it, but not sure if we can pay my way, being a new church plan that runs lean as it is.

I’d
like to WIN! I’ve been striving to develop a small group culture in my
church for 4 years now. We feel we’re on the verge of something great
God is doing and Small Groups are the key to transforming lives. But
personally feeling overwhelmed and distracted; I need focus. Can’t let
God down! Can’t let my church down! Too many lives are at stake. This
may be just what I need to Re-charge! Or Re-Group!
