Win 2 FREE Registrations to re:group: North Point’s Groups Conference

Share via:

markhowell_siteJoin Andy Stanley and the North Point Groups team for re:group, one of the very best small groups conferences I’ve ever attended!  October 20th and 21st at Buckhead Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

You’ll be inspired and equipped with the nuts and bolts of building a small group culture for adults.  And they’ll do it in typical North Point fashion with main sessions, numerous breakouts, time for interaction, a few surprises, their most recent learnings–and lots of fun.

I’ve got 2 FREE registrations to give away! It’s a $360 value!  (Technically…it’s worth much, much more.  I came away with several killer ideas both of the last two years.  You’ll do the same this year).

You must do TWO (2) things.  And you have to do BOTH to win.

  1. Use the comment section to tell me why you’d like to win.  Be sure and use your first and last name (that’s how I find your Facebook post).  You can comment right here.
  2. Tweet or Facebook the following line: “RT @MarkCHowell: Win 2 Free Registrations to re:group, a $360 value  http://bit.ly/1zX80CY #regroup14 @regroup14“

The contest ends on Monday, August 11th, at noon (PT).  Thanks for playing!

Hi Mark – Long time reader, first time commenting. I’d like to win the registration to NP’s re:group conference because I am new senior pastor to a church that is rethinking its small group strategy. I think it would benefit in several ways :#1. Even though we have a small groups pastor, as the SP, I need to be the small groups champion #2. This would be a great opportunity for my small groups pastor & I to get away and dream about what God could do through an effective strategy #3. Winning the registration would make it the cost of the trip more affordable (we’d be flying in from Cali) #4. The pastor I would be bringing with me is eager to learn, grow in his role & pass on what he learns to his current small group leaders. #5. Our church needs us to go.

I would like to win the registrations because it would allow me to take 2 key volunteers with me. I’m already attending, but I know it takes a team to change a culture. Our church’s leadership is on board, my goal is to excite key leaders and start to make important transitions!

To have an opportunity to attend the regroup conference, wow! I truly have a need to fill in the “in betweens”. I know where we’ve been, where we are, and where I can see us be, but the here to there is where I need help with. Perhaps this conference might help me to do that. Thanks Deb Ottenmiller

We have a small groups ministry that is going well, but we are struggling to build a vibrant group culture. To be able to attend a conference like Re:Group would be an invaluable tool as we become more intentional about leading people to groups.

We are beginning the transition to small groups. The conference would equip us to make a more seamless move from traditional Sunday School to a more open small group ministry.

I would love to win these tickets! We are already going as a staff team and there are some new small group coaches that I really want to go with us to Atlanta! We are building momentum as a church, and this would hopefully put jet fuel on the fire!

Our Small Group leadership would love to attend regroup! We want to revitalize our small groups…making sure we have groups for new people, helping people get connected and helping them grow! We’ve been wondering the best way to really amp up our Small Groups and make them all they can be! My dream is to double the number of groups we have this year! We’re still learning a lot about best practices and regroup would be perfect for us!! Thanks!

My name is Chris Johnson and I am fairly new to being a small groups pastor. I need help because my senior pastor (who is the small groups champion) are trying to change the culture of our church to one that embraces small groups as “the” way we conceive and do church. You can check out our attempts so far at w3cu.com. Your daily blog is helping us, but we still have a long, long way to go, and I think this conference could be a big step in the right direction.

Things have been tough at our church for the past year. Loss of our lead pastor (personal issues), a new pastor from Kenya cannot come yet because of the long visa process, another associate pastor is still finding his way, many people have left in confusion, disappointment, or anger, and our finances are very tight. I’m the small group director, and have been functioning mostly alone. It would be such a help and encouragement to attend this conference.

  10. Robert Peters on August 7, 2014 at 12:55 pm

Hey Mark – my name is Robert Peters and I would love to win and attend re:group! I am new to overseeing small groups and need the nuts and bolts of building a small group culture. Thank you for mentoring from afar!

We are launching a brand new discipleship strategy this fall centered on small groups. I’m excited about it, but it’s a little scary. I’ve got the theory and theology for it, but I have so many practical questions. I’ve been considering a conference to help me and my team figure things out, and I think this would be just what we need! Mark, your posts and our phone conversations have been extremely helpful as a starting point, but networking with other leaders at this conference would be invaluable. (Btw, I tried to login via Twitter to post my comment but got an error. My Twitter name is @AnwothWill.)

Our church is reloading. We are about to hit our 100 year anniversary and we are in the process of making necessary changes. One of those is trying to transition from Sunday School to community groups. Our mission is to make disciples who make disciples and that only happens in relationship and community. I would love to take a key leader to regroup to catch a vision for group life and discipleship.

Our groups ministry has been in decline and we need a fresh start. This conference looks like it will provide a shot in the arm.
