Win 2 FREE Registrations to re:group: North Point’s Groups Conference
This contest is over! Watch for our next giveaway! Join Andy Stanley and the North Point Groups team for re:group, one of the very best small groups conferences I’ve ever attended! October 21st and 22nd at Buckhead Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
You’ll be inspired and equipped with the nuts and bolts of building a small group culture for adults. And they’ll do it in typical North Point fashion with main sessions, numerous breakouts, time for interaction, a few surprises, their most recent learnings–and lots of fun.
I’ve got 2 FREE registrations to give away! It’s a $300 value! (Technically…it’s worth much, much more. I came away with several killer ideas last year. You’ll do the same this year).
You must do TWO (2) things. And you have to do BOTH to win.
- Use the comment section to tell me why you’d like to win. You can comment right here.
- Tweet or Facebook the following line: “RT @MarkCHowell: Win 2 Free Registrations to re:group, a $300 value http://bit.ly/1a4j4nG“
The contest ends on Monday, August 19th, at noon (PT). Thanks for playing!
How cool that would be? I could celebrate my birthday with Andy and all my friends in Atlanta. Re:Group everyone!!!
Wow, great giveaway Mark! I personally would love to be able to take some of my group coaches down to Atlanta and soak up some ideas and inspiration. We utilize a lot of North Point’s content and methodology so that would fit well too. Experience really can trump data!
I would like to win for several reasons:
-I’ve been the small group pastor of my church for 3 years; I don’t have a lot of experience, I was not even in a small group before, so I have a lot to learn
-I know that at that conference, there’s an emphasis on the practical aspects of small groups, we can experience what they’re teaching; where I live (Quebec, Canada) there’s not a strong culture of small groups, and it is difficult to find places to see and experience thriving small groups ministries in action
-I could bring someone with me, probably the senior pastor, which would be a great opportunity for him also to heaer and see new things about small groups
Thank you
I’m a NEW community group director at a 3 year old church. I love people, strongly believe in Community Groups as I have been a part of many different ones in different churches in different cities. I’m also NEW to being on staff of a church. I have devoured many small group books and your blog for the last 3 months and would love the opportunity to mingle & learn from other group pastors/directors. I hear this is one of the best to attend!
Would love an opportunity to learn from one of the best and use it as an opportunity to bring someone along to train and release into group leadership.
I’ve been at this church for almost 15 years of its 19 years as an associate pastor and now as co-pastor. For the last 10 or so years we’ve been seeking ways to create a culture of groups. For several reasons, we are now on a path to building that groups culture. This conference would offer the opportunity for us, I believe, to make significant strides toward that end.
Thank you for your blog Mark. Recently we’ve learned a lot from you as we are leading several groups through their first multiplication in our church. We are a church that was once dead but now is growing! I’ve never been involved in a growing church in my life so in many ways I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m thankful for others who are well ahead of us that can give solid counsel and ideas. We are two years into our small group philosophy and being able to hear from North Point would be a huge impact for a church that is just starting to really turn the corner.
I cannot believe how much your blog has grown my ‘mind’ for ministry. God’s had my heart for a long time, but I’ve been thirsty for resources that will expand my vision & the practical tools here have been a key asset to my growth this past year. I would love to attend RE:GROUP for the same reason as every other Life Groups Pastor – I want to grow, I’m sold out on what God’s doing in my local church and I want to make it better, I want to max out my personal capacity for the cause of Christ and then I want my connection to Christ and resources like RE: Group to blow the doors off my capacity cap and I want to max it out again! I don’t deserve this prize any more than any of the other God-honoring people who are hoping for it, but I appreciate you giving me the chance to win it anyway!
Hey Mark, I didn’t hear about the conference until my budget for the fiscal year was set. I am a new small group pastor who was hired about 8 months ago. I am trying to learn all I can about what’s working with groups so I can enhance and encourage our leaders. I love your posts and read as much as I can. Thanks for being kingdom minded.
We are trying to revive a declining small group ministry, our church is going through some difficult situations and we want to build a vibrant strong ministry in order that our people can move upward , forward and outward through doing life together in spite of the circumstances.
Hi Barb…make sure you also tweet or facebook the exact phrase in my post. A comment AND the tweet or post to facebook are required to win. It’s actually how I can contact you if you do win!
I would finally meet Mark Howell! 🙂 We are approaching 100 small groups and have established a groups system (coaches, database, support/training). Now, we are ready to take the next step to reach the “other half” of our church attenders. No doubt re:group will provide proven strategies.
I just took on the position of Life Group coordinator this summer and need lots of ideas and inspiration for getting people connected.I enjoy the emails that I receive from Mark Howell. They are very helpful!
my job is all about small groups and I need all the help I can get! And I am only 3 hours away from Atlanta, so I could potentially take a team of leaders with me.
I am the small group director at my church. Attended last year’s group conference and would love to return! Thanks!
Our small groups have become stagnant the past year. As the small group coordinator, I am needing to be recharged. I also need to find ways to motivate adults to join a small group and to understand the importance of group life (or the priority of group life). We started Twice fed which is brown bag lunch and discuss the sermon from that day. Praying that our college students, seekers, etc would want to join in on a discussion. At this point it has been unsuccessful, so I would love to find ways to help people explore their faith while experiencing community. re:group is everything that I have been praying for!
As pastor of a large Catholic parish I am convinced of the necessity of making us a church OF small groups rather than WITH small groups. Having completed 40 Days of Purpose last fall in our parish and prepping for 40 Days of Community by the end of September, this conference is timely for me and another member of our church to have our vision broadened and establishing winning strategies in the future ; to put flesh on the vision is what this conference can do for us.
I desperately need to attend re:group so that I can meet my online small group mentor Mark Howell and take him out to lunch to his favorite Atlanta restaurant where we can swap stories about Cockapoos!
I always feel bad when people comment but don’t tweet or post to facebook the phrase! You’ve got to do both to win.

I did post it on facebook right here https://www.facebook.com/jchudson so please don’t take me out of the running!
I see it Jeff. Looks like it didn’t post to facebook right away. Thanks for entering!
I have just recently taken on the challenge of heading our small groups for our church. While I have been on staff for 13 years, the small groups headship is one area I have never been in charge of. I am excited and in way over my head at this point. I need all the help I can get. I have been soaking up all of your on line teachings. If I am going to do this, I want to do it to the very best of my abilities. I am willing to learn and have a teachable spirit.i simply want our small groups to be the very best they can be. Thanks for all you do. An opportuni to attend reGroup sounds like just what the doctor ordered.
Top three reasons for gaining entrance to re:group
1. As a longtime groups guy, I’ve never made it to re:group. I can finally mark it off my bucket list.
2. Six months into a new job at a homeless shelter, I can discover new ways to engage groups in a totally new environment.
3. Not only would I bring someone new to groups discipleship with me, I will be making new friends while there.
I would like to attend re:group because: I want to build with God, a vibrant balanced culture of group life at our church. I need more tools to do this.
Thanks for the giveaway Mark! We are about to launch our Fall groups campaign. We’re following your expertise to the letter! We currently have 40% of our church in groups. By following your plan we hope to at least double that to 80% this fall. We know that we need to grow in tools and leadership ability, and that this conference will be able to provide just that! Thanks for considering us!

I’d love to be able to attend. Our church has less than 20% actively involved in Life Groups and as someone who is new to ministry and a first-time small groups pastor, I find myself struggling to think of additional ways to get our attenders subscribed to the idea of trying it out. Being that we’re still a small (but growing) church, there’s simply no way I can attend other than being blessed with the means to join externally.
