Win the Soul Detox Church-Wide Campaign from Zondervan

Share via:

The contest is closed.  We have a winner!  Thanks everyone for playing.  And thanks Zondervan for a great product and a great prize!

I am so excited about the best give-away I’ve ever offered!  One of the very best church-wide campaigns I’ve come across in quite a while is Soul Detox: Clean Living in a Contaminated World.  New from Craig Groeschel and published by Zondervan, this is a great match of a fantastic communicator and great topic.  I am always on the lookout for topics that are cross-cultural, that is they make sense to the friends, neighbors, family and co-workers, too.  Soul Detox fits this bill perfectly!  You can learn more about it right here.

To support the contest, Zondervan has put together a great offer!  The winner will receive:

Seriously?  That’s a $1,469 value!

You must do TWO (2) things.  And you have to do both to win.

  1. Use the comment section to tell me why you’d like to win.  You can comment right here.
  2. Tweet or Facebook the following line: “RT @MarkCHowell: Win a Soul Detox Church-Wide Campaign Kit by Craig Groeschel, a $1,470 value  http://bit.ly/KKlAnk”

The contest ends on Tuesday, May 15th, at noon (PT).  Thanks for playing!

I have been committed to groups since 1995 and believe discipleship happens best in community. I am always looking for tools that can change lives

Anything Mark Howell recommends deserves serious consideration! And coming from Groeschel and Zondervan, it usually hits the “mark” intended.

I would love to win this for our Vineyard church in the UK because we need to get more of this stuff over here.  I’m always on the look out for encouraging teaching to build and encourage the body and reachout to our community. We’ve never tried a church wide campaign before.

I would love to have  chance to win this package. Craig Groeschel and the team at LifeChurch.tv are always great at communicating difficult truths in a way that connects with people.  Thanks Mark for making us aware of this great opportunity.

As a Women’s Pastor, I would love to get 100 brand new women into 10 new Small Groups for Soul Detox who have never taken the step of faith to be in a Small Group before. It would be awesome to offer this first taste of a Small Group free with such great curriculum from LifeChurch.tv

i echo the other comments about  anything with your endorsement being well worth my time to look at… in addition to enjoying the Groeschel stuff i have worked with in the past.   this would be a welcome addition to our ministry.

  8. Thompson on May 11, 2012 at 6:17 am

Oooooooh, this would be perfect for our church-wide campaign in January 2013!  We’re an eight year old church on a growing trend and we’ve GOT to generate more groups to connect the “fringe.”

  9. Karen (@karensdavis) on May 11, 2012 at 6:42 am

My goal is for every adult in the church to part of a healthy, growing small group and I can’t think of a better way to kick off the ministry year than with a campaign using this study.

  10. Loyall on May 11, 2012 at 7:05 am

Leading a group ministry in an area with lots of church influence but not depth and commitment is challenging. I am always looking for helps that will challenge our people to take a serious look at ourselves in light of where we can be in Christ.

Walnut Hill Community Church is non-denominational church with a calling to impact New England for the Kingdom and we are seeing God do incredible things in our midst. The point that peaked my interest in “Soul Detox” was the cross-cultural relevancy of the curriculum. We are reaching an area in the New England that covers some of the most affluent areas of the US and some of the poorest. We have just kick off one campus  and are ready to add one more small campus in some of the more economically challenged areas of NE, where the the polling data shows that the area is 3-5% evangelical. So, with that said, we could use re-inforcments in the way of people and material for making disciples. What a great testimony it would be to see “Soul Detox” have an impact in this environment.  I pray that all of the ministries that you are influencing will experience a great move of God. Go Team Go!

I would LOVE to win the Soul Detox campaign package!!  We are launching our small group ministry this Fall and Soul Detox is one of the campaigns I am considering.  We are a pretty large church and having the ability to gift groups with these resources would be an amazing opportunity!  This is exciting!

  13. Johnmlundberg on May 11, 2012 at 8:46 am

I just started my first church as senior pastor and my church/people are in desperate need of a soul detox… I really believe that regardless of the outcome of this giveaway our church will go through the curriculum as this book has even changed my life and so many others…

  14. Jordan Gadsby on May 11, 2012 at 9:25 am

Soul Detox is at the top of my list for fall 2012. The others I’m considering are Act Normal, God Quest, Gospel Revolutions and Made. Winning this package would definitely close the deal on Soul Detox!

  15. Adam Parker on May 11, 2012 at 11:45 am

Wow, would love to win this one! Love Craig Groeschel and working on a Group Connection this Fall and would love to build it around Soul Detox!

    Thanks for sharing this Mark!

This would be a great way to take our small groups (VGroups) to a new level. As a church plant based on small groups we would be so grateful!!! As always, thanks for keeping me in the know.

  17. Jeff Butler on May 11, 2012 at 12:43 pm

I had a chance the peruse the book at Exponential.  It would make a great series and campaign.

  18. Breanna Wiebe on May 11, 2012 at 12:43 pm

Lately, we have seen the Lord present our church body and staff with more and more situations that “religious people” would consider sinful, socially unacceptable situations.  We are feeling a real burden for people in our community living in and dealing with “contaminated” situations.  We are approaching these with JESUS.  Accepting them, showing them Jesus, encouraging daily time in His Word, and letting Him do the conviting.  “Soul Detox: Clean Living in a Comtaminated World” would be a great tool to help our community realize what bondage Satan has us in and how to defeat him and break those chains.

  19. Javin Proctor on May 11, 2012 at 1:04 pm

Would love this. Doing our very first campaign in september and would love to start with this.

We just started researching campaigns for this fall (with great use of this blog, of course), and it would be great to have a copy of this to preview/own/use this year or in the future…!

Always good to find resources that intentionally work on the inside of one’s life, as that is the source of all holiness and life. This resource would provide a means of strengthening and reforming God’s people so that we might use all that we have an all that we are to reform the city into which God is calling us.

Our little country church could benefit greatly from the Soul Detox resource, but also others as we open the doors to the farming and small town communities around us and invite them to experience true practical and biblical ways to “Clean Living in a Contaminated World.” What a great opportunity for us to build relationships with folks outside our walls. We would love to win this resource as our budget is very limited. Thanks for offering this contest and always keeping us informed of the latest resources!

I’ll be the honest one.  I would like to win this because I like to win things.  🙂 Also our small groups could benefit from them as we have a limited budget.  But this study would do great for us in the fall.  We are are a growing church with a lot of new Christians.  I think this study could go a long way in helping them live a Godly life in their new faith.

And I like to win things!  Because I never do!

  32. Jonathan Holcomb on May 13, 2012 at 5:14 am

Just got that book on my kindle the other day.  Really looking forward to reading it!

  33. Erich Robinson on May 13, 2012 at 6:01 pm

I would like to win because I believe in Craig Groeschel. I have listened to him preach the series online and would like to use the material with our church. Thanks for the opportunity.

  34. Jwood on May 14, 2012 at 5:55 am

We are in the process of overhaulin’ our entire small group system and plan to use all-church campaigns as our primary way to begin new groups. This resource would help us jump start our new strategy and help us sustain momentum to keep groups (and everyone in them) alive and growing!

  35. Kevin Beers on May 14, 2012 at 6:10 am

I am taking on a new role as the young adult community life pastor (after 10+ years in Student Ministry) this coming June at our church. To be able to win this contest/resource would be a great asset in helping our church gain some new momentum in our small group ministry.

  36. Brian on May 14, 2012 at 7:40 am

Our church has a desire to begins small groups, but we have zero budget. This would be an amazing help

  37. Steve on May 14, 2012 at 10:24 am

I just took a look at our numbers for new members over the past 5 years (we are a 153 yr old church).  We are connecting only 30% and losing those who do not get connected.  We have so many issues going on that contribute to this, but getting our small group ministry healthier is absolutely critical.  This would be a great study for us this fall as we are going to take a step in the direction of having a healthier church.

  38. Dottenmiller on May 14, 2012 at 11:49 am

I would love to win this resource- Craig Groeschel “gets IT”. what a cool thing to do for your readers; thanks for the offer, whether I win or not: )

Mark, I would love to win this campaign set because we are already to kick off our fall with a focus on connecting treatment for their souls with God’s word. This would be a great resource for us.  Furthermore, when I see you in August (coming to Canyon Ridge), I could thank you personally :). Also, I think you’re  a great guy and I’ve heard some awesome reports about what you’re doing there in Vegas.

    Blessings,
    Doug Cowburn

New Hope is located in the 4th largest city in America.  We are committed to reaching people who are far from God – and one of the things I consistently hear from our New Member’s Class is; “Prior to attending New Hope I attended church once every blue moon.”  These are real people looking for real direction in life.  Getting good material into our leader’s hands to help others grow in their faith is essential.  I believe Soul Detox would be a great resource to help launch new leaders and reach out to those who are disconnected.
