Quotebook: Determining The Proper Question

Think about the last time you had a really important decision to make.  Remember what it was?  What if you discovered that you’ve been going about it the wrong way?

It’s interesting to me that really smart people always spend a lot of time figuring out the right questions.  Here’s what one really smart guy had to say:

“If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on the solution, I would spend the first fifty-five minutes determining the proper question to ask, for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes.” Albert Einstein (inGenius, p. 19)
