Jeff Henderson’s Know What You’re For is a Can’t Miss Study
Know What You're For: A Strategy for Living the Life God Wants You to Live is a new 5 session video-driven study by Jeff Henderson. Henderson, the Lead Pastor of Gwinnett Church (one of North Point Ministries 6 Atlanta churches) is also an entrepreneur and business leader and was recently named by Forbes Magazine as one of 20 speakers you shouldn’t miss.
Based on Henderson's 2019 book, the study points out "God is FOR the people in our world. He is FOR breaking down unnecessary barriers that keep people away from experiencing His love. And as his followers, he calls us to be spouses, parents, friends, leaders, and employees who do the same (from the cover)."
Video-driven, each of the 5 sessions feature the teaching of Jeff Henderson. The video sessions are 16 to 18 minutes in length and easily hold your attention. Great stories make compelling teaching. Excellent takeaways make the message very portable and application-oriented.
The topics of the study's 5 sessions are:
- What Are You For?
- FOR Your World
- FOR Your Team
- FOR Your Community
- FOR Your Life
Each of the sessions are application-oriented and packed with very practical takeaways.
A WATCH section helps participants capture the key ideas from the video.
The DISCUSS section features a well-written set of questions that invite group members to dig deeply into the central scripture passage and the RESPOND section makes application a part of every session.
The study guide also includes a between sessions PERSONAL STUDY designed to be completed over 3 or 4 days as a follow-up. NOTE: Sessions 2 thru 5 open with an opportunity to talk over insights from the previous week's personal study.
I really like Know What You're For. Henderson is a really good communicator and this topic is so spot on for many of us.
